  • 1. How many hours of interview will I need?
     

    Every story is different, but most of our clients are surprised how much ground we can cover in an hour. We recommend getting started with a free consultation.

  • 2. Could I do this myself with a camera phone?
     

    We recommend you record your story as soon as possible, even if that means getting started yourself. Our Biography Booth offers state-of-the-art filmmaking equipment, lighting, and sound recording to ensure that your footage is the best it can be. Interviews are conducted by a trained and experienced interviewer, ensuring you capture all the color, character, and detail that makes for a compelling keepsake.

  • 3. What should I wear?
     

    Make yourself comfortable, but avoid black or white clothing, if possible, and avoid overly detailed patterns that might distract a viewer.

  • 4. What can I do with the video once it is completed?
     

    We deliver your video in the highest-quality format possible on high-quality digital media storage, so it is future-proof and ready to use for a full-length motion picture, if desired. Most of our clients prefer to use the footage for family celebrations, memorial services, and at the holidays; video can be played back on any computer or digital media device. Our larger packages also include social media clips, which are shorter clips (2-3 minutes) formatted in a smaller size, perfect for emailing to friends and family or sharing online.
