What a blast visiting my old stomping grounds at The Daily News in Greenville. This is where I first learned how to be a reporter—how to interview, write, edit, take pictures and work under the pressure of daily deadlines. I hadn’t even graduated from Calvin College when they hired me to work full-time covering the city of Greenville beat. Now that was a crazy final semester! I will be forever grateful to this newspaper staff and the chance they took on me!
